Sleepaway Camp
We invite you to join us at Camp Pontiac this summer for a week of training and FUN! The days will be full of fitness and motivation to get you ready for a successfull Fall... but save some energy for the evenings too! Dances, Live Bands, Karaoke and don't forget the Talent Show! Our camps are run by certified teachers and coaches at a 1:5 coach to camper ratio!

Leadership Academy
Do you have what it takes to be the captain of your team? Campers in this program will learn what it takes to be a leader by developing effective communication skills and learning important steps involved in the decision making process. They will also conquer the “Ropes Course” while learning the value of teamwork through High Adventure activities. Campers who complete the course will earn a Certificate of Achievement that will qualify as community service.
Sports Medicine Internship
Foundation XC Camp will be running a Sports Medicine Internship Program for students entering grades 9-12. The campers will gain insight into the field of sports medicine and athletic training along with many others careers in the Health Care Industry. Campers enrolled in this introductory program will get hands-on experience on prevention, recognition, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The group will meet every day for 1 hour, as well as assist the training staff before and after runs. Campers who complete the course will earn a Certificate of Achievement.POLAR Heart Rate Monitor Program
POLAR Heart Rate Program: Take your training to the next level! Learn how and why training with a heart rate monitor can be useful and fun! Campers will meet with POLAR representatives in 3 one hour sessions to learn how to use a heart rate monitor, what the benefits are, and most importantly, how to track your progress! Campers in this program will receive a POLAR Heart Rate Monitor valued at $150 to keep!. (A $60.00 materials fee applies)

Are you ready for fun? Your days will be full of training, fitness stations and learning workshops. There will also be guest speakers and don't worry, you'll have some free time. The nights at Camp Pontiac, however, is really where it's at. Here's a partial list of evening activities we'll be bringing to you:
Color War:
Red, Yellow, Blue or Orange?
Color war has quickly become tradition at Foundation Sleepaway Camp. Check the website the last week before camp starts to see what team you are are, then PACK THAT COLOR IN YOUR BAG and be ready for an afternoon of fun. Click the Videos tab and watch the 2010 Camp video to see the excitement!

The facilities at Camp Pontiac are second to none! Clean cabins (with plenty of hot water), Ice-cream shacks, state of the art athletic equipment, and not to mention an air-conditioned movie theatre! The food is amazing!
