Mike and Tim have a passion for the sports of Cross Country and Track & Field.  It is through this passion that their vision for a fun and safe camp experience was born. Mike & Tim have assembled an amazing coaching staff with impressive resumes. Foundation coaches have trained All-State athletes, National Qualifiers and won countless Conference, County and Section Team Championships. However, the true strength of the Foundation staff lies in each coach's talent for motivating athletes at all levels of ability to believe in themselves and bring forth performances and passion that far exceed their expectations.

Foundation welcomes the 2008 Newsday Long Island Cross Country Coach-of-the-Year to its staff!  Neal Levy's teams have won five straight Nassau County Class B titles and the three two overall Nassau County titles! His athletes have climbed the State ranks and now compete at the National level. The Lady Vikings have earned two straight trips to Oregon to compete at the Nike Cross Nationals! Coach Levy spends time tailoring workouts to meet the needs of each individual athlete. As a Level 2 USATF Certified coach, Neal has a lot of knowledge and insight to share with our  athletes. Coach Levy will work together with our staff to develop programs that will provide a well-rounded training program for each athlete at Foundation, ensuring that all of our campers are training to their ability without, “leaving their season at camp”.

Rich Degnan

Coach Degnan is one of the most experienced coaches in Nassau County. He has coached at the Middle School, High School and Collegiate levels and was most recently appointed as the Chairman of the Track & Field Committee of the USATF-Long Island. ‘Degs’ has a passion for the sport that is matched equally by his diverse knowledge of the sport. Rich has helped to educate many of Long Island's youngest coaches as they seek his guidance and advice. Foundation is lucky to have Coach Degnan on board as he has assembled an elite coaching staff that will not only RUN beside the campers, but will TEACH them as well.

Kristin Frazer

Kristin demonstrates a great representation of the overall philosophy of Foundation Camp; "Campers will come to train in a safe and fun environment while learning about the sport of running". Her passion for the sport, as well as for life, is extremely contagious. Although she has coached All-State athletes, Kristin's true talent is in making the average runner believe in themselves. She has been faced with being an underdog team and ended the season as Conference Champions. Coach Frazer truly enjoys giving the shy, quiet, unassuming athlete the tools to become a stronger, confident, driven athlete who constantly strives to achieve what they once thought impossible. This is a program that SHOULD NOT BE MISSED!
